The KIEV.UA Domain Policy

1. General Provisions

1.1. The present Policy of the KIEV.UA domain (hereinafter - the Policy) was developed in accordance with the Clause 1.2 of the current "UA Domain Policy"

1.2. Terms and definitions used in the text of the present Policy shall be given the meaning and interpretation set forth in the current .UA Domain Policy, except as otherwise provided.

1.3. The KIEV.UA domain is a second level public domain, being a constituent part of the .UA domain.

1.4. Domain names in the KIEV.UA domain shall be delegated pursuant to the Article 2 of the current .UA Domain Policy.

1.5. Administration features of the KIEV.UA domain are set forth in the Article 2 of the present Policy.

1.6. Information on the delegation and administration of domain names in the KIEV.UA domain is stored in the register database of the .UA domain in the format and subject to the rules established in the Article 4 of the current .UA Domain Policy.

1.7. Resolution of domain disputes in the KIEV.UA domain shall be carried out pursuant to the Article 5 of the current .UA Domain Policy.

2. Administration Features of the KIEV.UADomain

2.1. The KIEV.UA domain was delegated in the interests of Internet community, pursuing its business, social, economic, cultural, educational, informational or administration activities, or any other activity, which is not prohibited by applicable Ukrainian law, and having legitimate interests within the territory determined by the administrative boundary of Kiev and Kiev region, Ukraine.

2.2. The period of processing a request for delegating a domain name in the KIEV.UA domain shall not exceed 5 (five) working days. According to the Clause 2.10.6 of the current .UA Domain Policy, the administrator of the KIEV.UA domain shall notify the administrative and technical contacts of the corresponding registrar about the course and status of the request processing via e-mail within the aforesaid period.

2.3. Requests for the delegation of domain names in the KIEV.UA domain shall be processed in the order of their receipt to the input queue of the register database of the KIEV.UA domain. The simultaneity period for the requests for domain names delegation is not established.

2.4. Administrator of the KIEV.UA domain has full discretion to decide whether or not the request for the delegation of a domain name in the KIEV.UA domain complies with the requirements of the Subclauses 1.4 and 2.1 of the present Policy and the current .UA Domain Policy and whether to delegate a domain name according to the request or deny the delegation request.
